Staff Sgt Nathan: The Story of a Fighter

Staff Sgt Nathan: The Story of a Fighter

When Staff Sgt. Nathan he was diagnosed with leukemia at age 6, he realized that something had happened to him that meant he had restrictions and couldn’t do the things that other six-year-olds were doing, like playing soccer

Rather than becoming depressed about his future, when he was old enough to enlist in the Israeli Defense Force, he was determined to become a combat soldier and would not take “no” for an answer.  This story of determination illustrates how God-given willpower can overcome adversity in whatever form it comes.
