Cream Cheese vs Peanut Butter

Cream Cheese vs Peanut Butter

Since I was a kid I loved cream cheese. I also loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. My mother could never understand how I could like peanut butter? She said that she tried peanut butter once or twice, and just about couldn't open her mouth after eating it. Her comment was the Yiddish word for yuck, "Feh!" She said, "now, cream cheese is normal."

It's true, cream cheese on an onion bagel that's toasted can make my tongue attack my lips. But, when you take saltine crackers, spread them with peanut butter, and drizzle it with honey or put some strawberry jam on the peanut butter, mm, mm good! I've got to go now and get a bagel and cream cheese, or will it be saltines and peanut butter and honey, or...!
