British PM Johnson's Chanukah Message

British PM Johnson's Chanukah Message

Boris Johnson, Britain’s Prime Minister wished the Jewish people of Britain and around the world a happy Chanukah.

He acknowledged it has not been easy for Jewish people in England the last few years, but he assured the Jewish people that every decent person in Britain stood with them.  Johnson praised the actions of Judah Maccabee in the past and affirmed that the Jewish people have a right to be proud of being Jewish.  The Prime Minister stated that Britain would not be Britain without its Jewish community.  This message, from this person, at this time, is truly an encouraging sign.
