Kidron Valley Adventure - City of David, Ancient Jerusalem

Tour guides escort the viewer on a short visit to ancient burial sites in the Kidron Valley.

Shown and explained in this video are Absalom’s’ tomb, an ancient Jewish cemetery and the sequential burial process mentioned in the Bible.  The phrase ‘gathered to their ancestors’ meant a lot more than the simple passing of one into history.  It reflected a respectful burial process that lasted a year.

The enthusiasm of the tour guides for the subject matter is infectious and entertaining.  This is a video segment worth investing one’s time to watch.
