Righteous Among the Nations: John Weidner

John Weidner was born in Belgium but moved to France when the Nazis invaded western Europe.

He became part of a resistance movement against the Nazis called Dutch-Paris.  Although originally his goal was to save only Dutch and Belgian people, he eventually expanded his rescue efforts to saving Jewish people as well.
