Leaving Babylon. Ezra 1 & 2.
Sermon by Messianic Rabbi Jeff Zaremsky.

When Jewish people returned home after 70 years of the captivity, according to Ezra, they “gathered together as one man to Jerusalem” (Ezra 3:1).

Rabbi Jeff Zaremsky will discuss chapter 3 of the book of Ezra. We will study its historical background and spiritual significance.
We will learn how Jewish festivals were resumed, and how the altar was rebuilt. Together we will find answers to such important questions as,
- Why did our fathers begin rebuilding the Temple from the altar?
- Would it not be expected to start with a foundation, walls, roof, and doors?
- Does God help those who help themselves?
- How can we involve God in our lives?
- How does Ezra 3 reveal Messiah?
