Shalom Sesame: Shavuot

Shavuot blessings from the Jewish children’s series Shalom Sesame.

In this special holiday episode, Avigail and Brosh want to stay up all night just like the grown-ups. Will they be able to successfully pull off this amazing feat? Watch the video below to find out:

Shalom Sesame is produced by the same creators as Sesame Street, and first aired in 1983. This Jewish offshoot focuses on teaching children as well as adults about the Jewish holidays, traditions, and Israeli culture. Shalom Sesame first premiered on American television in 1986 and then again in 1990, and does not require viewers to have any extensive knowledge of the Hebrew language.
